What is Tarot:
…a deck of 78 cards that, over the centuries, absorbed the wisdom, the narratives, the philosophies, histories, moral and life lessons of many cultures. Synthesize that with the omnipotent human mind we can use the tarot to gain insight into our lives, empower us to achieve, and strengthen us when we need to cope. Although some believe that the tarot can be used for fortunetelling, I don’t believe in fortunetelling. Rather, we know the answers to our own questions already, the answers are latent within our subconscious. The tarot helps us extract that information from our own subconscious.
Kemetic tradition + since the beginning of time, man has illustrated the world of artful of storytelling. Dynamically capturing walks of life, conveying secrets of our Ancestors past, magickal renderings + spiritual guidance. Our etched stories allows clues from a not-so-distant past into a present revelation. Scholars deciphered Tarot came from the Egyptian words Tar, “path” or “road”. The words Ro, Ros or Rog meaning “King” or “royal” and that the tarot literally translated to Royal Road of Life.
